Netflix Dropped The First Four Minutes Of "Quarterback", A Docuseries Coming Out Wednesday Following Kirk Cousins, Patrick Mahomes, And Marcus Mariota. And It Looks Electric
Inject this straight into my veins. As the premier Vikings fan in this office who is still blocked on Twitter by them for spamming them to fire Mike Zimmer years ago, this is pure scenes. Kirk the dad who doubles as Kirko Chainz after big wins is a recipe for some great TV. And there's nothing better than a NFL documentary that drops in the middle of July to give us a little tingly feeling 45 days from kickoff. Shoutout to whoever decided to drop it in the middle of absolutely nothing going on besides repetitive loser rants from all the Mets fans. Coulda maybe chose a different QB than Mariota, but I digress. Might be interesting to see the behind the scenes of a QB who lost his job.
Thoughts and prayers to Hard Knocks if Netflix knocks it out of the park with this one. And, if there's one thing that Netflix knows how to do, it's documentaries so we're in for some guaranteed primetime viewing. The Mahomes part will be fine as long as they don't show that little twirp Jackson in it, and judging by recent legal troubles, I suspect that won't be an issue. Probably dial it back a little bit with the wife stuff, but if you believe she won't be in it, then I got some ice to sell you.
I mean look at just two of the screengrabs from the first 4 minutes of the show:
We're in for something special. Thank you Netflix.
